[IIJ = Gyeongsangbuk-do Reporter Euibong Yeo, Sunho Lee, Sungsil Im] Chilgok-gun held the 4th Nakdong River World Peace Culture Festival in Chilgok Patriots & Peace Memorial for 4 days from August 30th to September 3rd. Nakdong River World Peace Culture Festival, which is the only festival for patriots and peace, completed in success with 280 thousands of visitors increased 30 thousands from the last festival in spite of the heavy rain.

From this festival, Chilgok established the identity of Chilgok as 'the City of Patriots and Peace' and was evaluated that it improved brand identity as 'Creative Industry' to improve cultural, economic, and welfare value.
Seongi Baek, Head of Chilgok-gun, said "From now on, I will try my best to foster and develop Chilgok as the landmark city of Korea for "City of Patriot and Peace" with Nakdong River World Peace Culture Festival and setting up Patriots and Peace Park and Korea-USA Friendship Park.
