] The 2017 Cheongdo Flat Persimmon Festival & World Comedy Art Festival was held for 3 days from October 13 to October 15 and ended in great success. This festival heated up Cheongdo-gun with the scarlet wave, airy laughter, and the joy of learning along with 320,000 visitors.

This flat persimmon festival, held under the theme of 'Time to be fascinated by the Cheongdo Flat Persimmon', provided a lot of attractions such as Flat Persimmon Show, Permission Dyed Fashion Show, and Photo Exhibition of the Daily Life in Cheongdo.

In addition, a variety of programs were organized for visitors to participate in, for example, Flat Persimmon Long Cutting, Iced Ripe Persimmon Quick Eating, Dried Persimmon Catching, Persimmon Color Dyeing Experience, Persimmon Water Gun Fighting, and Flat Persimmon Hunt in the Pool.

Besides, the Flat Persimmon Market where you can taste and buy flat persimmons by yourself and the Processed Flat Persimmon Store where they sold processed flat persimmon products such as dried persimmons and persimmon vinegar have been crowded with people over the entire festival period,

The Cheongdo World Comedy Art Festival, held under the slogan of "Come on Cheongdo, Let's Smile," began with the opening ceremony of the comedy duet, Cultwo, followed by famous local comedy performances such as KBS Gag Concert, Zoltan Show, and Musical Lunatic followed in sequence.

The festival site was full of smiles over and there with various performances and events including overseas comedy invitation works from Japan, Australia, and Canada, World Comic Magic Show, and Busking Magic Performance.
