[국제i저널 = 경북 이순호 기자] Seonju, famous for cultivating lots of Korea’s Oriental Melons, has been holding local festival.

This festival sheds new light on the value of life, and many visitors from the local and the neighboring cities gather to enjoy it.

There is a place where the umbilical cord of the son of Sejong the Great who invented Hangul was sealed and kept. It is located in Seongju. The umbilical cord became a motif and the contents of life are handled.

Traditional culture performance teams participate in this event, so you can expect the festival to provide lots of programs to enjoy.
