From September 1st to 4th, the 16th conference of exchange of Local Governments of Korea, China, and Japan. The organization committee are Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gumi-si, and National mayor and provincial governor.

The theme of the conference is the local development with representative industries and humanistic sources of Gyeongbuk. Also, the guests are going to have inspection course including the visit to Gumi, Pohang, Andong, Gyeongju, Yeongju.

This annual occasion is opened in rotation and the location for next is Yiwu, China.

[국제i저널 = 경북 여의봉, 황선현 기자]경상북도는 경상북도, 구미시, 전국 시도지사협의회 공동주최로 9월 1일부터 4일까지 구미 일원에서‘제16회 한중일 지방정부 교류회의’를 개최했다

이번 행사는 9월 1일 개회식 겸 경상북도지사 주재 환영만찬과 9월 2일 본회의, 전국시도지사협의회 주재 환송만찬을 비롯해‘경북을 대표하는 산업과 인문자원을 활용한 지역개발’이라는 테마로 구미, 포항, 안동, 경주, 영주 등을 포함하는 4개의 시찰 코스를 운영했다.

한중일 지방정부 교류회의는 지금까지 3국이 순환 개최해 오고 있으며 금년 구미시 개최에 이어 내년도 제17회 회의는 중국 저장성의 대표적인 소상품 도시- 이우시에서 개최할 예정이다.
