[IIJ = Gyeongsangbuk-do, Reporter Euibong Yeo, Jiyeong Nam]Sansuyu Festival opened at last 26th with the beginning of spring in Sagok-myeon, Uiseong-gun.Uiseong Sansuyu Village refers to Hwajeon 2-ri and Hwajeon 3-ri of Uiseong-gun.In Sansuyu Village, hundreds years of sansuyu trees form a colony. In this year, yellow blossoms of sansuyu are in bloom due to nice weather.
Sansuyu Festival opens every year because the Sansuyu Village was selected as clean zone from the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs since the scenery of the village was awarded as Best Photo in National Photo Contest.

During festival period, there are chances to directly buy liquid extractives of sansuyu and dried sansuyu produced by the villagers and other crops cultivated for a year. Also, there are many kinds of performances to see.
