[IIJ= Gyeongsangbuk-do Reporter Euibong Yeo, Soonho Lee, Jiyeong Nam] Seongju Life Culture Festival continues to 5th festival in this year. The concept of this festival is the theme of “A Story of Korean King Willow”, and the festival was held in the atmosphere to have an emphasis on current ‘healing culture’ with Seongju’s 500-year of Seongbak Forest.

The festival started with the Declaration of Life, and it offered Life Performance, foreign traditional folk performance, Korean King Willow Healing Road Experience Activity, and other various kinds of things to see.
Especially, the Parade of the placenta enshrinement of Prince of King Sejong started from Seongju District Office and continued to the stage of Seongbak Forest. It showed the special Seongju’s own things to see which people cannot see in other places. Hoang-gon Kim, Governor of Seongju-gun said “This festival is held in the theme of Life Culture to promote and publicize Seongju, and it will be natural for Seongju to improve any values of our area. Also, Seongju’s Oriental Melon will be national luxurious oriental melon along with the development of the community.”
