[IIJ = Gyeongsangbuk-do Reporter Euibong Yeo, Sungsil Im] Sobaeksan Jarak-gill was publicized first as Cultural Eco Trail from Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in 2009 and ascended as ‘Highlight of Korean Tourism Award’ in 2011.

Sobaeksan Jarak-gil is totally 143 km turning around Sobaesan mountain chains called as guardian mountain of Yeungnam area. It consists of 12 Jaraks and each Jarak’ length is 12 km on average so it takes 3 or 4 hours to go trailing. Therefore, people can enjoy trailing 1 Jarak per day in slow pace.
In addition, 12 Jaraks are subtly divided by cultural borders. When you see Jarak in detail, you can see the particularities per each Jarak so it can be the full of experience.
