Your freak son is going on a strange picnic’ and lasted 4 days until 21th in the forest area outside the Seongju Castle.

Many spectators including Seongju County Governor, Kim Hang-gon and Lee Seok, a descendent of the Joseon Dynasty attended at the life declaration ceremony held in King Sejong's Princesses' Placenta Chamber and the Declaration of Life was read to announce the value of human lives, followed by a big signature performance.


At the opening ceremony of this day, a crowd of 100 Seongju County people performed County People’s Grand Chorus to draw enthusiastic applause and several popular singers, Coyote, Harmonize, and Inunui came on the stage to pull up the heat of the festival.


In addition, the preview of a movie, "Melon Scent", which contains various episodes surrounding the election of the head of a village in Seongju, was held to give a warm impression to the audience.


On 19th, the next day, the melon donation ritual to reproduce the ritual of donating Seongju melons to the king was held to provide a new attraction, and the melon song festival was also held to add to the amusement with the celebration stage of Kim Yeonja, Kim Sung Hwan, Han Hye Jin, and Cho Young Koo.


On 20th, not only Taebongan Parade to reproduce the King Sejong's Princesses' Placenta Chamber Taebongan ceremony but also a prenatal education concert featuring Song Soo-hee and Shin Dela caught big popularity from the audience.


On 21st, the last day, the 4 day long Seongju Life Culture Festival came to an end with the performance of the invited overseas performance team, the town messy parade, the celebration performance of Hello Venus, Tin Tin Music Festival in Gyeongbuk-do, and Guan Yu’s Tug of War.


On the other hand, in the forest outside the castle consisting of 6 themes prepared a space where pregnant women can relax and heal themselves by operating a forest concert, a mother's life studio, a prenatal forest bath, and a pregnancy and child care classroom in the forest.


Besides, a variety of events were presented to promote Seongju melons, for example, Melon Fruit Salad Performance, Surprise Melon Auction, as well as an experience program to make melon candles and melon pickles utilizing melons.


In the booth run by the Multicultural Family Support Center, they tried to draw the understanding and interest in the multi culture by conducting a lot of events such as making traditional Vietnamese hats, creating a world map puzzle, and multicultural play experience while operating a multicultural photo zone.


There were also many programs in which children could enjoy tram trains, water bicycles, water playgrounds, children's magic, and comic pantomime along with their parents to hold the steps of children at the festival hall. They also arranged a special exhibition hall for the representative of Seongju, Mt. Sim and River Han to use it as a place for promoting the spirit of Seongju.
